‘Tis The Season for Christmas Cookie Baking

Updated: Feb 2

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is baking cookies while listening to Christmas music. And, this rainy weekend is the perfect time to stay indoors and bake some tasty treats. I might even freeze a few for Santa.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

armagazine.com/peanut-butter-cup-cookies Tips: there is no need to roll the dough into balls. Just use a cookie scoop, level the top, and drop in the mini muffin tin.

— Use the back of a spoon to press the mini peanut butter cups into the warm dough.

Buckeyes (Peanut Butter Balls)

-I use 1 Tablespoon Crisco to one bag of chocolate chips when melting for smoother/easier dipping.

Tip: Use a cookie scoop for even portions. The top of the cookies will still look a little wet when removing from the oven. They will harden up while sitting on the pan for 1 minute after removing from the oven. After 1 minute, promptly remove to a cooling rack.
