Mac and Meat

Years ago, we had a family gathering and ordered takeout. It was horrible! Not a single person enjoyed the restaurant food. Then, in walked Mrs. Billie with this casserole. She saved dinner! We all had to have the recipe. And I have been cooking it ever since.


Mac and Meat


8 oz Elbow Noodles, cooked

1 lb Ground Beef, cooked

1/2 cup Green Bell Pepper, diced

1/2 cup Onions, diced

4 oz jar Diced Pimento, Not drained

1 (10.5 oz) can Campbell's Cream Of Mushroom

1/4 cup Mayonnaise

3/4 cup Sour Cream

2 cups (1/2 lb) Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese

1 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef with bell pepper and onion. Drain. Mix all ingredients together. Place in a 9" x 13" baking dish. Bake uncovered for 35 minutes.
