Teachers and school media specialists can reserve circulating kits from the library. These kits are designed for hands-on interaction suitable for all ages. The South Carolina State Library offers over 100 circulating kits, including STEM/STEAM activities, Kitchen-in-a-Box, Bilingual Storytimes, Virtual Reality, DIY Escape Rooms, Lego, Board Games, Let’s Talk About It book kits, and more. Kits can be reserved up to 90 days in advance, and each user may have up to 2 kits checked out at a time. Teachers and school media specialists can utilize the circulating kits by contacting their nearest public library and inquiring about the local branch contact person for circulating kits.
