FRIDAY, JUNE 28
Independence Day Celebration by Denise Thomas State Farm
Location: Icehouse Amphitheater, 111 S Church St, Lexington
Time: 7 PM - 10 PM
The 26th Army Band will play a concert starting at 7 PM.
Fireworks will follow at approximately 9:20 PM.
Beer, wine, nonalcoholic beverages, and food will be available from vendors: Cheese & Thank You, Lil’ House of Pizza, Diablo’s, Shaggy’s Smokehouse, Sully Steamers, Truly Scrumptious Creamery, and Sunset Slush Cola.
Tune into 93.1 FM The Lake to listen to patriotic music during the fireworks show.
Best viewing areas: Icehouse Amphitheater, Main St restaurants, Lexington Square Park, Lexington Veterans Monument, and any public parking lot in the Downtown Area.
Note: The circle and grass parking lots along S Church Street will be closed all day.
SATURDAY, JUNE 29

4th of July Celebration on Lake Murray
Fireworks will start at approximately 9:30 PM from Spence Island and Dreher Island. Fireworks will NOT be at the Lake Murray Dam.
Admission fees into Dreher Island: $3 for adults, $1.50 for seniors, $1 for children ages 6-15, and free for ages 5 and under.
A celebration will take place by the Tackle Shop at Dreher Island at 1 PM with Big Boys BBQ food truck, and at 7 PM, 93.1 The Lake will have giveaways, live broadcasts, and synchronized firework music.
Bring lawn chairs or blankets, coolers with food, drinks, and snacks.
The park will close when reaching capacity—arrive early.
Fireworks can also be viewed by boat.
Tune your radio to 93.1 The Lake for synchronized patriotic music during the fireworks show. Note: If streaming from your phone, there will be a lag in music.
SC United Bantams Independence Day Celebration
Location: Southeastern Freight Lines Soccer Complex, 112 and 115 Sunbelt Blvd, Columbia
Time: 7 PM
Pre-professional men’s and women’s soccer team doubleheader.
Enjoy post-game fireworks, water slides, yard games, food trucks, booze pops, concessions, and the Bantams Beer Garden.
Free admission for kids and $6 for adults.

Shealy Fireworks Extravaganza
Location: 605 Prosperity Hwy, Batesburg-Leesville (GPS might need the old address: 3065 Prosperity Hwy) Please do not park in front of the 2 story home
Time: 9:30pm Fireworks
13th Annual Family Fireworks Show. Bring blankets and chairs to sit on the lawn if you can’t see from your car. Kona Ice trucks will be available for purchase at the house and one up the hill.
THURSDAY, JULY 4
Harper Street Bike Parade
Location: 2010 Harper St, Newberry
Time: 9:30 AM
A patriotic parade for children with bikes, golf carts, wagons, and more. The parade proceeds down Calhoun St.
After the parade, a fire truck hooks up to the fire hydrant at the corner of Harper and Walnut St. Together, the crowd will say the Pledge of Allegiance, then the water works will begin. Children of all ages are invited to enjoy the cool spray.
Optional: Quarters will be accepted and then donated to the Newberry Fire Department to benefit families negatively impacted by fire.
Note: Dreher Island and Gully Washer are nearby for more entertainment.
Family and Veteran Friendly Laser Light Show
Location: Irmo Community Park, 7507 Eastview Dr
Time: 7 PM - 10 PM
Hotdogs provided by Sonic of Ballentine and Harbison.
DJ and Lightshow provided by Laser Chicken.
Kona Ice available for purchase.
Light show begins around 9:30 PM.
Bring a chair or blanket.
Calvary Chapel Lexington’s Annual 4th of July Celebration
Location: 1156 Barr Rd, Lexington
Time: 7 PM - 9 PM
Waterslide and hotdogs at 7 PM.
A commercial-grade 30-minute fireworks show starts at 9 PM.
Lexington County Peach Festival
Location: Gilbert Community Park, 110 Rikard Cir, Gilbert
Time: 9 AM - 9:30 PM
Join the 64th annual Peach Festival. Enjoy homemade peach treats, live music, local vendors, and celebrate the Queen of all fruits, the peach.
Activities include peach ice cream, a peach parade at 9:30am, antique car show, 100+ craft vendor market, food trucks, children’s fun zone, and fireworks at 9:15pm.

Blowfish vs. Glowfish Baseball

The Columbia Fireflies and the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra return for the 4th annual Orchestral Independence Day Celebration.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event.
The kids' zone will be open from 6:30 PM to 8 PM.
Tickets start at $10. Parking is $8 per vehicle.

Fort Jackson Independence Day Celebration
Location: Hilton Field
